The fire of love

The ruby is united in eternity with its color. Ruby is red . Moreover, etymologically, the name "ruby" comes from the Latin "rubens", which means "red". This color is its main asset since its value and interest depend on it, but it is also its symbol. Because ruby red is fire, passion, ardent desire...

Bagues de fiançailles: le rubis, symbole de l'amour

The color of love par excellence, of which the ruby is the perfect reflection. Since the dawn of time, the ruby has been the best messenger and the best guarantor of declarations of love . Its color is also that courage and victory, strength and merit , and the ruby naturally became the precious stone of kings, maharajahs, sultans, heads of the Church (cardinals). In Thailand, which is the largest ruby sales center, we find beautiful red-brown stones, the famous "Siamese ruby". As for the ruby from Vietnam, its color is purple. India is also a land of rubies, known for their many inclusions.

And why the "red diamond"? Because after the diamond, the ruby is the hardest stone. On the Mohs scale, which measures the hardness of minerals, it reaches level 9, while the diamond is at 10...
