Eden of Coronet: A guitar covered in diamonds

When an artist takes the stage, they must exude impressive charisma for their audience. This glittering, extravagantly luxurious guitar can undoubtedly add a touch of extravagance to a musician's stage performance. But you still have to be able to afford it, which, let's face it, isn't within the reach of just any amateur band.

Eden of Coronet: Une guitare tapissée de diamants

This instrument is the result of a collaboration between Dubai-based jeweler Lifestyle Fine Jewelry and its highly regarded Hong Kong counterpart Aaron Shum. Together, the two firms form the Coronet brand. To transform this simple electric guitar into a precious instrument, more than 62 craftsmen worked on the task for nearly 700 days.

Designed by Mark Lui, the object is covered in diamonds totaling a whopping 400 carats, finished in 18-carat white gold. Its aesthetic is inspired by nature and the floral theme, whose patterns are formed by the precious stones.

The diamonds were supplied by Hong Kong's Chow Tai Fook, while the renowned Gibson firm ensured the guitar's acoustic quality was preserved. Ultimately, this is the most valuable guitar of all time, certified by the renowned Guinness World Records.

Primarily designed to showcase Coronet, this prestigious instrument was exhibited at Baselworld 2015, before traveling to China to be presented to potential buyers.
